Saskatoon Engineering Society (SES) would like to share the following updates:

1. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Meeting minutes will be available on the SES website soon. The following Members will be your 2023-24 Executive Committee: - President Akinniyi Akinpelu, M.Sc., P.Eng., PMP., CAMP - Past President Arian Andkhoie, P.Eng., PMP., SSGB - Vice-President Unyime Umoh, Engineer-in-Training - Secretary Travis Zimmermann, P.Eng. - Treasurer Zygmunt Kowal, P.Eng. Directors - Chao Huang, Engineer-in-Training. - Juniper Willard, P.Eng. - Fayaz Kadir, P.Eng. - Rajesh Shah, P.Eng., FEC - Edwin Van Der Spuy, Engineer-In-Training. - Sumith Kahanda, PhD., P.Eng., PMP, CSSGB - Blessing Mangodo, Engineer-in-Training. - SM Rahman, P.Eng. - Margaret Kuzyk, P.Eng.

In addition, we will have the following representatives in the Executive Committee: - U of S Dr Yen-Han Lin, P.Eng.

2) In the SES By-Laws ratified at the AGM (to be published soon) a new position of Digital Marketing Officer (responsible for promoting SES events and posts in social media) was created.

This position has not yet been filled. If you are interested, please contact the President at president@saskatoonengineers.com

3) SES Mentoring Service can also help those needing mentoring or expert advice and opinions. This may be related to your licensing application, job, career development or anything related to your professional life. You can contact me at any time regarding mentoring services at president@saskatoonengineers.com

4) SES is looking for volunteers to work with the Executive Team to assist in planning and executing activities and objectives throughout the year, so that we can bring more value to our members and stakeholders.
